I enjoy tutorial & informative writing.

During my teenage years, I ran my first business: Recycled Paper.

I created and sold 's.m art paper' to a stationery store at an incredible loss financially yet richly rewarding from both the experience of running a small business as well as enlightening me to the more unscrupulous side of small business. The concept fell flat on a society that hadn’t yet realised the importance of recycling. I plan to restart this business in my retirement years.

But that was just the beginning in my entrepreneurial journey...

My #1 passion in life is Photography!

My love of photography goes back to the early 1980's. My earliest cameras included an instamatic-Polaroid, an over sized spy-camera, and a variety of Canon SLR's. I photograph with a Canon EOS 400D. and a wide variety of lenses. The passion is now my obsession!

Whilst I continue to dabble in web-site design, my predominate focus at present is photography.

Much of my spare time now is spent uploading amazing photographs to my redbubble gallery where my printable photographs are easily purchased as cards, as canvas's, as laminations, and framed.

Whenever time permits or opportunities to travel arise, you'll find me photographing new and interesting (yet eclectic) photographs around South Australia, and displaying and exhibiting my artwork.

I have plans for another photography exhibition in late 2009.

For the first time in a very long time, I have a dream, a passion, a journey, and a destination. I am going the extra mile to learn more about photography and make it an intricate part of my every day life.

I enjoy coding compliant HTML & CSS.

My original online-fascination was to designing and build web-compliant sites. It is still an ongoing passion that enables me to design a few sites each year for friends and tradesmen who work on our house!

I first found HTML & CSS after modifying backgrounds within older versions of Microsoft Outlook. Once I had found where the CSS was hidden in the program-files on my computer, I had a barrel of fun. I was addicted and on my way.

I purchased my first domain in 2001, soon after being introduced to HTML & CSS & learning a few freeware animation programs. After informing a few friends of my newfound skills, I was given an opportunity to animate a business logo for a friend: A Skating Duck. Not exactly the best claim-to-fame, yet they still use it!

I quickly learnt the attributes, elements and web-compliant standards that makeup HTML & CSS. I was on the "external CSS" band-wagon long before it was fashionable!

The amazing ease at learning the concepts of web-design has been my biggest triumph in life. I enjoy both coding and writing about web-design technology and techniques, concentrating on WWW issues, plus HTML & CSS attributes and application.

Whilst my initial learning was with Dreamweaver, I now hand-code using Notepad++.
